There are several galleries for contemporary Chinese artists in Qingcheng Mountain Museum Complex. The artists each have a strong and unique identity in their methed and philosphy. Yue Mingjun is one of them this gallery will be solely exhibiting his work.
We are in a world full of idols,we see them everwhere.Liu hulan ,Lei Feng,Michacl Jackson,Marilyr Monroe,Picasso. Sralin and your life is under their influence and control . I discovered what each of these people as an idol share in common , spreading his or her own image everywhere . Just occasionally I simplify and use this method in my art ,repeatedly idolizing muself. I long to be a idol ,because once a penson be comes an idol ,he or her can enter into the blood venis of other and control their ideology.
Frank speaking ,nowdays the phenomenon of idols has become extremely tiresome .People have such strong feelings for their idols that as soon as an image of great person flashes through their mind thy feel nauseous .Life has become tasteless and absurd because of the idols. Do you not think on should conter and ridicule idol with a hearty laugh?
I want simply to confront idol ,to allow society to become a little more
interesting !
